What to Expect

The tour will begin at our agency located a few steps from the metro station where our staff will welcome you and give you your passes.

With this tickets-only service, you will get privileged access to the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica avoiding the long. Please be aware, during peak season even priority access ticket holders can have wait times.

Enter the Vatican Museum first to begin your exploration of one of the most important sites in Rome. Spend some time on the often missed galleries such as the Pinacoteca which houses stunning artworks – 12th century to the 19th century – from the greatest artists in the history of Italian painting. Wander through the Egyptian gallery, the Belvedere courtyard, the Greek Cross Room, the Gallery of Geographical Maps frescoed at the end of the 16th century, and the Gallery of the Tapestries.

Explore the Sistine Chapel, famous for the best views of the legendary frescoes by Michelangelo and other Florentine masters. From St. Peter’s Square you can enter the Basilica, one of Christendom’s most sacred monuments. Erected atop a 4th-century church, it contains stunning masterworks including Michelangelo’s Pietà and soaring dome based on the famous Duomo in Florence.

Please note- the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round. Low cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts, and hats are not allowed. Shoulders must be covered.
